Description:
Model Making introduces the materials, tools, and methods used in the fabrication of 3D models for Industrial Design. Along with presentation level models, the class will explore 3D rapid visualization techniques for constructing soft (in process) mock-ups, as well as mechanical prototyping. In this studio class, students work with foam, plaster, wood, plastics, fabric, and a variety of other materials in a series of small skills-oriented projects.
