Description:

Mechatronics is a continuation of the ID Model Making class from the fall semester. Students will focus on building functional prototypes and mockups in support of a self initiated research topic. Hacking existing products will be encouraged as well as using off-the-shelf hardware (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry PI, Lego MindStorm). Basic electronics, hardware programming and mechanical interactions will be explored.
