Description:
Designers tell stories with design and, to be successful, they must be able to tell stories about design. How can design speak for itself and how can designers talk about design? This class helps designers to imagine the worlds their designs bring to life, to evoke those worlds through the smallest details of design, and to tell stories about them. Storytelling here is considered as an essential part of design research and as essential a designer's ability to speak on behalf of his or her own work. This is a research and writing-based course.
