Description:
Taught by Will Rogan and Jonn Herschend of THE THING Quarterly, this class will be focused on experimental publishing.Through readings, lectures, field trips, and assignments we will be exploring the ways that publishing can work both within and without the established art system.Students will be introduced to new methods for producing and distributing artwork. The class will operate as an audience for itself; the work produced in the class will very literally be produced for the class. The final project will be to make some sort of published multiple that will be made in an edition that matches the class size.
