Description:
Our world is in flux. As we experience this pandemic, and in the midst also of climate disasters and economic challenges, how does design respond with more inventive and responsible approaches? This making-centric class will explore the future of product design, with an ethos of healthy, sustainable materials and practices, and in response to our larger global context. This class will be rooted in methods of physical prototyping and explore individual student research engaging future-focused design ideas.
