Description:

I am currently involved in a unique opportunity with Company A, actively engaging in their business acquisition strategy, a result of my pursuit in the DMBA program and the realization of the need for practical business experience. Working closely with Company A, I will gain invaluable hands-on experience in the investigation and acquisition process of a smaller business, allowing me to contribute insights and utilize skills acquired during the DMBA program. Given Company A based in China, I will be taking the initiative to conduct comprehensive market research within the United States. My objective is to provide a strategic report outlining potential future steps for Company A and highlight possible product or service opportunities in the US market. This immersive experience marks my first substantial participation in the business world and aligns with my aspiration to bridge international business strategies.Learning Outcomes:Student should be able to: Interpret different types of acquisition, and their process. Understand the purpose of each material provided in the acquisition process. Apply research and strategic tools to analyze industry attributes, competitive market, organizational capabilities, and identify valuable opportunities. Generate, analytically reinforce, and clearly communicate strategic decisions from an leadership standpoint. Craft impactful strategy materials to identify key problems, articulate and assess alternative options, and outline the recommended course of action.
