Description:
This is the syllabus for Armando Somoza's (he/him/el) independent study course with Justin Lokitz to address Entrepreneurial Business Model Design, a topic not offered in the current schedule.This Independent Study is designde to support the exploration, development and testing of viable business models for a recently formed professional coaching practice called Alma Mia. Armando is the co-founder and coach for this newly formed company. Responsive design, marketing, initial financial modeling, and business model validation will constitute the core aspects of this applied research project.The goal of this independent study is to leverage and apply the lessons of three semesters of the DMBA into developing the desirability, viability, feasibility, and impact of the this newly formed business. Through research, design, and prototyping, Armando will develop and test viable business models, strategic vision, and operational capacities.
