Description:
This course builds on the skills learned in Fashion Illustration 1 and introduces drawing of flat garments using computer software. Hand drawing skills are focused on fabric, textile and print structures and figure drawing using a live model. Development of 2-D presentation skills and personal style are emphasized. Demonstrations and studio work are combined with weekly and semi-weekly assignments, so that new techniques and formats are immediately executed and critiqued in class. This class consists of demonstrations and lab time. Students are expected to use class time to advance class assignments with guidance from instructors.
