Description:
Fashion Design 1 introduces students to the world of the working designer. Students are asked to create fashion ideas directed by a series of design brief projects that mimic industry product development. The class connects ideas, process, communication, research and apparel materiality while establishing foundational understanding of fashion design principles, market sectors and shipping seasons. There will be multiple building projects during the semester.
