Description:
This course focuses on developing advanced digital rendering skills to effectively communicate design ideas. Students will refine a variety of digital tools and software to create dynamic 2D and 3D illustrations, emphasizing garment representation and fabric behavior. Through project-based learning, students will refine their proficiency in digital techniques and workflows, preparing them to meet contemporary industry standards. The course also covers emerging trends and innovations in digital visual communication.
This course meets for the first half of the semester and students take FASHN 3102 - Fashion Illustration 3: Portfolio Development, in the second half of the semester. Students must register for both FASHN 3101 and FASHN 3102.
