This course will examine both the evolution of fashion from the Renaissance through the 20th century and the influence that styles of the past have had - and still have - on fashions of later times. The course will emphasize the development of analytical skills and primary source research techniques.Online course sections will be delivered with both asynchronous and synchronous components as outlined in the course syllabus. Required online synchronous meeting times are listed as the meeting pattern for this course section.
