Description:
This class breaks down the process of recording and editing sound to enable students to create a basic stereo mix for film, installation or multi-platform projects. Through this process the psychological impact of sound on the perception of image will be explored. Students will acquire skills that will enable them to produce high-quality production recordings, foley, voice-over, ambient/background sound as well as sound effects. An emphasis on creating powerful sonic accompaniment for image on a limited budget will be central to the class.
