Description:
This intensive seminar takes place the following weekends during Fall 2022 semester (8 hours per day):
- Saturday and Sunday: October 1 and 2
- Saturday and Sunday: November 5 and 6
- Saturday and Sunday: December 10 and 11
This seminar will include a variety of field trips in the Bay Area as well as guest artists, curators, writers, publishers, librarians, and art historians. History and Theory courses are designed to hone students' critical skills through intensive reading and writing assignments. Recent course topics have included gender, ethics, disease, aesthetics, and discourse on global art movements of the past 50 years.
