This course is focused on supporting professional and studio practice for Sophomore and Junior level students. Drawing projects will include sketching, furniture design + construction drawings, and presentations. Research assignments will support writing as a part of creative practice, and expose students to current practices and practitioners. Making workshops will focus on hands-on ideation methods and development of practical problem solving tools (such as jig-making, finish samples, etc).
