Description:
Games Development is a professional studio focused on learning the process and best practices needed for undertaking advanced coursework in the Game Arts major and a career in games. Students will learn the games development process, the games production pipeline, the roles and positions in professional and independent game studios, as well as various methods in taking a game from concept to distribution. In this course students will participate in the creation of a semester-long, collaborative development cycle of an original digital game, from concept through prototyping, playtesting, asset development, testing, systems refinement, production, and distribution.
