Description:

This course provides an overview of film theory and its connection to the aesthetics of film for graduate students. The course is designed to provide a foundation in academic film study in the context of contemporary film research.Hybrid course sections will be delivered both online and in-person. Required online synchronous meeting times are listed as the meeting pattern for this course section. Additional course components will be delivered asynchronously or in-person as outlined in the syllabus.
