Description:
This course focuses on a holistic approach to visual communication through the development of a comprehensive design system around a single topic in a range of media. Students will synthesize the poetic and pragmatic through research, strategy, conceptual thinking, and expansive form-making. Emphasis will be placed on presentation skills, a robust understanding of both cultural and media-specific contexts, and the development of an appropriate visual language informed by a distinct point of view.
