Description:
Typeface Design is a unique convergence of creativity and technical craft, and the Digital Type Studio explores how these two aspects interact and coexist. Students use traditional media along with FontLab Studio 5 to originate and produce a fully functional typeface. The course gives strong consideration to composition, optics, letterfit, readability and other subtle typographic factors.
