Description:
This course focuses on narrative storytelling. Students will hone their research skills, develop the sketch process, and learn to work with reference materials. Projects focus on specific narrative elements such as character development, composition, lighting, point-of-view, mood, and atmosphere. Assignments include short-story illustrations, book jackets, and comics.
