Description:
Through a variety of assignments this course focuses on the design elements used in create effective images. Students learn about color theory and advanced composition. They experiment with shape, line, pattern, and texture. The joy and challenge of illustration is finding "freedom within constraints". This course will help students learn to find new and clear ways to communicate their individual vision within these constraints.
