Description:
Lemonade Stand is a class for junior-and-senior level illustration students looking to complete a range of professional projects before graduation. By partnering with art-empowered organizations and collectives, the students in Lemonade Stand will create a sponsored body of work tied to real-life clients and experiences. Possible illustration clients may include museums, publishers, stores, galleries, nonprofits and more. This class looks beyond the walls of CCA into our Bay Area community and beyond. In addition to projects, we will become well versed in their copyrights, ethical and sustainable business practices, contracts and licensing. Students who are highly motivated, rigorous, and invested in developing their business practice and building their client list, are encouraged to apply.
