Description:
In Thesis class, you have the opportunity to propose a semester-long project about a subject
matter of your choosing. Portfolio class mirrors this self-directed model and is designed to
add variety and consistency to a body of work you will be presenting to clients at the
beginning of your illustration career.
At the beginning of the semester, you will present your past work and determine your client
base and focus. Group and individual critiques will help you determine which pieces will form
the basis of your portfolio and give you feedback about adding new work to fill gaps and
add richness to the collection.
The overall goal of this class is to establish your small business (along with a Professional
Practice class) with a strong collection of your best work.
