Description:

Internship is an integral part of a designer's education, providing professional experience that enriches academic aspects of the interior design program. While approved internships can take place anywhere in the world, students often pursue experience in professional areas that particularly interest them, such as commercial, residential, healthcare, historical preservation or other facets of the interior design profession. The internship experience is a well-rounded exploration of the opportunities and activities which comprise design practice and is typically completed between the sophomore and senior years, with the approval of the internship coordinator. This is a zero-unit pass/fail required class in order to receive a BFA in Interior Design from CCA. Students will meet periodically with the internship coordinator to monitor the progress of their internship
