Description:
The world needs your unique imagination and creative expression. Are you ready to begin your most meaningful and important work and awaken your inner genius? Do you know where your passion and energy meet the world's needs? In this studio, through a series of micro-projects, you will each explore your passions, identity, and dreams. These smaller assignments and discoveries will lead you to a self-designed larger project. You will take this project through all phases, from brief to craft to presentation. Throughout this process, you will be supported while also being lovingly pushed to do your most important work. Along the way, you deepen and develop your story around your work and also craft how you present that story to others. The semester will culminate in a public show of the final work. This process began in Kristian’s Interaction Thesis class and has been refined over the years. Past students of this class have gone on to start nonprofits, work with parliamentary legislators, create critical websites for causes, and craft artistic critical design installations.
