In this studio course, you'll apply your interaction design skills to designing not only a product but also reframing the opportunity and process with a newly gained business mindset.This course IS about:1. Learning and practicing the entrepreneurial mindseta. Either you have personal interests in starting something one dayb. Or want to work/intern at a startupc. Or want to bring mindset to big companies2. Gaining foundational knowledge regarding startup ecosystem3. Shifting the attitude from “Can I” to “Why Not”4. Critical thinking, always be observant5. Flexibility & adaptability6. Being an effective storyteller & being comfortable with pitching your ideaThis course IS NOT about:1. Making you a ‘business person’ (although everyone should have a business mindset)2. Launching your business at the end of the semester 3. Get rich overnight (because it simply does not happenDesigners and creatives have so much value to offer in today’s ever-changing business landscape. This course is about reframing your existing tools, experiences, and knowledge in interaction design — and helping shape the next generation of design and business leaders.
