Independent study is a variable (1-3) unit course which is available to undergraduate, upper-division, matriculated students in good standing only. For independent study in the studio, students must obtain the approval of the instructor, their advisor, and the Assistant/  Associate Director for the area of study. Students must show a current copy of their degree audit and transcript when requesting approval. Independent Study may be arranged during the Fall, Spring, or Summer terms with regular CCA faculty teaching in the current term only.  Students may register for a cumulative maximum of 12 Independent Study units during their undergraduate career.
