LITPA 3000 courses are advanced seminars in which students will critically read and assess different genres, period and traditions of literature or the performing arts through multiple lenses. Frequent reading and writing assignments will be made.Course DescriptionHumble Pie is CCA’s undergraduate literary arts journal. We have been publishing poetry, fiction, nonfiction, hybrid texts, and visual art since 2009. This fall, as a community of working artists, students enrolled in this course will work as a team to revise the website, humblepiemag.com, and to organize works to be considered for the spring publication, Humble Pie Volume 19. The journal is completely student-run, from the solicitation of writing, to the layout and editing and design, to the publicity and social networking and promotion. This class is a powerful way to celebrate the literary arts at CCA, and an opportunity for us to engage with contemporary writing and literature. Humble Pie is CCA’s undergraduate literary arts journal.
