Description:
MAAD Proseminar: Spatial Genealogies will explore the network of influences, connections, references and tangents that influence contemporary design practice. Students will look for precedents and read for disciplinary context while receiving input from faculty members presenting their own work. The course culminates in the creation of a book, exhibition and / or interface that showcases the research and casts forward to speculate about its implications. This course is open to MAAD students only. MArch students may request to join by emailing the instructor.
