Description:
This dynamic course introduces the fundamentals of contemporary painting practice and is open to students of all majors. Through hands-on exploration, students will experiment with a wide range of techniques, materials, and creative approaches. We’ll dive into form, color, and surface, working across both representational and abstract modes to expand visual language and personal expression. Slide lectures and field trips will connect studio practice to the broader world of contemporary art, inspiring students to see painting as an evolving and vital form of cultural dialogue.
