Participants will draw directly onto walls, make animations, and present drawings in public spaces. The goal is to embrace drawing as a contemporary practice, as an end in itself, and not as a sketch or a skill exercise. The history of collective and site-specific drawing, from cave art to graffiti, serves as the backdrop for a conversation on drawing in our time. Accompanying their drawing projects, students will write, only to realize that writing is just another form of drawing.
