Description:
"The Joy of Life is Making Things" - CCAC, 1912 This quote from a CCAC poster serves as a reminder of why we make art. Students in this class will work on personal projects, build a body of work, experiment with new materials and refine their ideas through exhibition and critique. Students will expand installation skills and consider modes of production that include multiples, editions and one of a kind works. The class will collaborate on a book of recipes and lore with contributions from each student’s unique experience. A keepsake of our shared time and a reference for a creative life.
