This class will guide students through the process of writing an analytical, thesis-driven research paper (twenty-five to thirty pages in length) in the History of Art and Visual Culture. Working closely with the instructor and faculty advisor, students will identify and research a topic of their choosing and develop it into a paper that could be submitted as part of a grant or graduate school application. Required for HAVC majors, open to others with instructor permission.
