Description:
In this course, we will be learning the fundamental structures of college writing. All academic writing can be boiled down to the simplicity of making "an argument," so we will approach it from that perspective. We will learn the most effective ways to make and sustain a rhetorical argument. And since one of the best ways to improve writing is through active reading, we will also be learning effective reading strategies. Finally, as this is an art college, I will endeavor to maintain an arts focus whenever possible.
