Description:
In this section, through short story, fiction, and video/film, we define culture and explore how culture is created by a community of interacting people via shared language, visual arts, beliefs and behaviors. Ultimately, students consider the various cultures to which they belong and use basic ethnographic research to engage with the diverse perspectives, values, and representations of the cultures around them.
