Description:
Writing 2: Seeing the Present Progressive The 'present progressive' verb tense indicates an action that continues from the present into the future. Futures are chaotically connected to the causal present. Innovators often study the present to meet its demands and to anticipate the trajectories of the future. This course will introduce texts and media designed to stimulate critical and creative consciousness around issues of the immediate present and imagined futures so as to speculate through analytic and creative work how to respond to what tomorrow may bring.
