Description:
Artificial Intelligence, climate change, robotics, the unraveling of the human genome, virtual reality: if it feels like we are living in a science fictional universe, perhaps it’s because we are. Want to know what might happen next? In this class we’ll find out by examining science fiction from the 21st century: stories, films, television and comics. As we plunge deeper into what the future might hold, we’ll also gain perspective on the here and now, tools to understand our world.
