Description:
Humble Pie is CCA’s undergraduate literary arts journal. We have been publishing poetry, fiction, nonfiction, hybrid texts, and visual art since 2009. This fall, as a community of working artists, students enrolled in this course will work as a team to revise the website, humblepiemag.com, and to organize works to be considered for the spring publication, Humble Pie Volume 19. The journal is completely student-run, from the solicitation of writing, to the layout and editing and design, to the publicity and social networking and promotion. This class is a powerful way to celebrate the literary arts at CCA, and an opportunity for us to engage with contemporary writing and literature.
