Case Study - Youth Art Exchange
Fellows at Youth Art Exchange work directly with youth in the classroom as an assistant teaching artist. They engage with the youth through classroom instruction and one-on-one support, as well as with the surrounding community and organizational staff. One example includes building a community parklet with youth in an architecture class of a local high school. Fellows are seen as mid-career role models to the youth and encouraged to use their discipline to develop new lesson plans.
