Join CCA Animation & Game Arts for an artist talk with visiting artist Yaloo. The talk will be followed by a Q&A.

FEATURED ARTIST:

Media artist Yaloo received her BFA and MFA in video art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has been selected for fellowships from the Asia Culture Center in Korea, the Headland Arts Center in the U.S., the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Japan, Lavande Video in Canada, the Western Front Society in Canada, Bemis Studio Art Center in the U.S., and the Vermont Studio Art Center in the U.S. She has also received the Lynn Blumenthal Memorial Scholarship from the Video Data Bank and the AHL Foundation Gold Medal in Visual Arts in New York. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including the Manif d'Art in Quebec, Canada, the Biennale de L'Image Possible in Belgium, and FACT Liverpool, the largest media art organization in the U.K., and the Netherlands, and is actively working on the global stage.
