ARTIST STATEMENT
We each have our own set of personal armor, built up over time through our encounters with others. The intentions of this armor is to keep us safe. These pieces look at the relationship between this armor and our human need for connection with others. Together they form a dichotomy, while also being fundamentally related. This is seen through the enactment of the pieces on the wearers.
