Attention all students enrolled in a First Year Core Studio (FYCST) course this semester; you are invited to check out the First Year Program and get to know each other, the First Year Program Shop staff, and the First Year faculty. Come pick up your First Year supply kits in the First Year Benchroom*. 

Once you have your supplies, come make stuff! Attend a workshop on how to seek and apply for work study jobs. Come adorn and personalize your new sketchbook (and bring others if you have them).  Come make buttons, decorate a flag to be displayed in the First Year studios, check out what the CCA Library cart has for you, register to vote in order to be ready for the upcoming election, take in the musical performance of Tequila Misery (a band formed by the student club Band of Musicians), and check out all the other things going on to welcome you.

*If you are unable to pick up your First Year supply kit, you may do so during your First Year Core Studio (FYCST) course on Thursday or Friday, August 29 or 30.

This event is part of the first day of classes for Fall 2024.  If you are in a FYCST course (Drawing, 2D, 3D or 4D) on Wednesday, this is part of your class time on August 28.  Your instructors will have the day's activity schedule when you arrive by 9am.
