After starting the program, Interior Design students have a variety of resources to seek supplementary funding for their education. There are a number of scholarship opportunities and competitions, regularly offered throughout the academic year and open to students of all levels. We compile a list of opportunities as they arrive, and share them periodically. We also encourage students to actively research scholarships, such as with the resources below.

NEWH, The Hospitality Industry Network, are professionals actively engaged in development, management/ operations, architecture, communications, design, distribution, education, manufacturing, production, purchasing, and sales of the Hospitality, Foodservice, Senior Living and related industries. NEWH, Inc. recognizes the talent and ability of students and encourages involvement in all areas of the Hospitality, Foodservice, Senior Living and related fields through scholarships, seminars and educational programs.

The IIDA Student Design Competition celebrates the talent and fresh design ideas of interior design students throughout the world who are currently enrolled in an interior design program or institution. The competition provides emerging professionals the opportunity to showcase their work and gain exposure in the interior design industry.

The ASID Foundation, in partnership with our ASID Industry Partners, provides a number of annual scholarships and grant opportunities available to expand research and knowledge around the impact of interior design on behavior, health, and well-being.

The LIT Design Awards was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. LIT believes that lighting is both an art and a science, and it is one of the most important elements of design. LIT was envisioned to celebrate the creativity and innovation in the fields of lighting products and application.
