Instructions for Faculty: Procuring Class Tickets to Commonly Requested Field Trip Venues
CCA Faculty: Before reviewing this page on the process for procuring class tickets for the most popular Bay Area venues, listed below, you'll want to make sure that you've completed the required steps:
1. Review the CCA Field Trips, Off Campus Activities, and Student Travel Guidelines page and completing any pertinent assumption of risk, vehicle use, and other applicable forms.
2. The information contained below is dependent on prior budgetary approval by either GrACE or the Division by the appropriate deadlines.
3. Because these are outside venues, thereby outside of CCA's control, it's critical that faculty ensure accessibility for all students. Please see the CCA Access Office's accessibility guidelines. Faculty should confirm accessibility in advance with the venue.
4. Once approved, we've provided information on additional steps you'll need to take in order to procure tickets for the Bay Area's most frequently requested field trip destinations. See below!
As always, please note that faculty, once having procured the appropriate budgetary approvals, are welcome to pay admission fees out of pocket and submit a Workday Expense Report for reimbursement up to the pre-approved amount. Make sure to keep your receipts! Otherwise, read on…
