CCA Extension

Embrace your inner artist. Develop creative skills. Explore the traditional and the unexpected.

California College of the Arts offers a wide range of year-round, noncredit extension courses for professional, intellectual, and creative development.

Courses are offered on the San Francisco and Oakland campuses in the evenings or weekends. They range from fine art such as painting/drawing, jewelry design, and ceramics to software and design-based classes including Photoshop, Illustrator, and intro to interior design.

Eligibility

All students must be 18 years or older to enroll in CCA Extension. We offer a figure drawing class for high school aged students in the spring and fall.

In the summer, we offer a Young Artist Studio Program for middle school aged students , Summer Atelier for rising sophomores and juniors, and a Pre-College Program for 10th, 11th and 12th graders


Gift Certificates

CCA offers gift certificates for CCA Extension courses. Gift certificates may be purchased for a particular course or for a specific dollar amount. Please call the Office of Special Programs at 510.594.3680 to order your gift certificate(s) today.
