Embrace your inner artist. Develop creative skills. Explore the traditional and the unexpected.
California College of the Arts offers a range of year-round, noncredit extension courses for professional, intellectual, and creative development for adults 18 years and older.
Currently, all classes meet in-person for Winter/Spring 2022.
We are working to add additional classes, including hybrid and online options, and will have more information soon.
All of our online courses are synchronous, meaning they meet live during a specific time of day, Pacific Standard Time, on the video conferencing platform Zoom.
All CCA students enrolled in on-campus classes (with the exception of those who receive an approved exemption) must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 by the start of their first day of classes. Students who are not vaccinated and have not received an exemption or made a plan to be fully vaccinated and boosted by their first in-person class will be removed. Students will need to complete an online form and show proof of vaccination at the first class meeting. CCA also requires proof of a negative covid-19 test dated within 72 hours of the first class. We will accept PCR, rapid, and at-home tests.
All staff are currently working from home. Please email us with any questions

Faculty and staff who teach or work on site must also confirm they have been vaccinated and received a booster by the start of the first class
All students must be 18 years or older to enroll in CCA Extension. We offer a figure drawing class for high school aged students in the spring and fall.
