CCA Visitor/Guest Policy

Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to all guest and visitors; with specific details for "Short Term Guests" and "Long Term Visitors."

Policy Statement

CCA Visitors/Guests:

  • All guests must sign in at all times and must provide a photo identification card.
    • CCA Faculty, Staff, and Students checking in guests must provide their CCA ID.
    • External guests must provide one of the following forms of documentation:
      • Military ID, Government-issued ID, Driver's License, School ID, or Passport.
    • A day use sticker will be issued to the guest.
  • Visitors/Guests are responsible for and can be held accountable for their behavior.
  • Visitors/Guests are only allowed in the academic buildings when accompanied by a Faculty, Staff, or Student they are a guest of.
  • Visitors/Guests are allowed in the academic buildings during an event open to the public for the duration of the event.
  • Visitors/Guests are allowed in the academic building while participating in a campus tour with the Enrollment team.
  • All guests must leave the building by 1030pm.
  • Guests may not post to bulletin boards.

The college holds the right to deny access to a guest or require any non-CCA community member to leave the campus at any time.

Long Term/Ongoing Visitor: (5 or more business days)

For guests visiting for longer than one week AND will need direct access to a secured space, they need to be hired as a contingent worker in Workday (instructions here) and get a personalized ID badge printed; The requesting sponsor/department/entity will also need to request badge permission/access from the appropriate space owners (Facilities and Operations, Studio Operations, and/or PSD). The requesting sponsor/department/entity must proceed through the Workday Hiring Protocol:

Short Term Guests: (1-4 day business day use)

For guests visiting for less than one week AND need direct access to campus generally, they need to email PSD to request access

  • PSD will check out a generic ID badge to them and ask Help Desk if special badge programming needed
  • All access requests requiring an ID badge must be submitted at least a week in advance
