BIPOC Ranked Faculty Development Grant
Overview
The College has established the BIPOC Ranked Faculty Development Grant to support the development of BIPOC ranked faculty as instructors and professionals in their disciplines. The biannual grant is intended to provide funding to support the awardees in the inception, development, or completion of projects, training, and/or scholarship that furthers their professional, creative, and/or career aspirations.
Grant mission
In conjunction with CCA’s BIPOC Adjunct Faculty Development Grant, the BIPOC* Ranked Faculty Development Grant** contributes to the collective strategic goal of cultivating a diverse range of creative voices in our classrooms and studios while recognizing the significant, intersectional inequities faced by faculty who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in advancing their practices and professional careers.
Eligibility

BIPOC Ranked Faculty are eligible to receive funding through this grant once every four years.
Note: While CCA is committed to supporting diverse faculty in many areas (gender, LGBTQIA+, ability, nationality or otherwise), we have made the decision in partnership with our adjunct faculty union to focus this development grant on racial and ethnic diversity.
