- We utilize Recology to employ its three-bin system that promotes, educates and enables the CCA community to recycle and compost waste. Throughout this page, you will find resources and information on how to properly dispose of your waste in a sustainable way.

Trash Room Locations
Founders Hall Trash Rooms are located in:
1st Floor: Outside near Channel Street
2nd Floor- 5th Floor: Next to Elevators
Blattner Hall Trash Rooms are located in:
1st Floor: Trash Bins are located in lobby area
2nd Floor - 4th Floor: In hallway
Sorting your waste
Compost
Food scraps, soiled paper, & to-go boxes go in the compost cart – this includes anything from coffee grounds and napkins to spoiled foods and peels.

Recycling
Paper, cardboard, glass bottles, aluminum/tin cans, hard plastics, bundled plastic bags & thin (film) plastics go into the recyclables cart.
RECYCLING MUST BE LOOSE, AND FREE OF A PLASTIC BAG LINER. RECYCLING MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY. GIVE FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONTAINERS A LIGHT RINSE.
