FILMG-6360: Directing Studio

Course Description

Lectures, screenings, and studio exercises guide students through the full spectrum of the director's art and craft. Students will stage scenes in a variety of production scenarios, with particular attention paid to working with actors and other key creative personnel in a collaborative production setting. The course includes basic instruction in acting, script analysis from both director and actor perspectives, and staging sessions with guest actors.
