Description:
From quick thumbnails and sketches to full 3D Illustrations, Visual Development for Games, Film, and Pre-visualization has grown tremendously with tools such as ZBrush, Mudbox, and expanded Adobe programs. This course covers the techniques used for digital sculpture and matte paintings to create characters, architecture, and immersive backgrounds for scenes and shot design. By combining sculpted 3D models with illustrative painting techniques students will be able to rapidly develop their visual style. Other topics include texture map painting for games and film, and set extensions for backgrounds and skyboxes.
